Premier sources a range of fire retardant plywood manufactured within Europe. Meeting the requirements of European standard EN13501-1+A1 Fire Class B they are designed to reduce the risk of the occurrence and spread of fires

PROPERTIES

Individual birch veneers are soaked in a fire retardant liquid solution prior to gluing and pressing. This method of treatment is more permanent in service than surface coatings and fire retardant properties can be maintained after cutting and machining.

Fire Retardant Birch Plywood is available ex stock, carrying a full CE1 Mark for structural use (a standard not achieved by third party treatments).

A range of FR Birch products are available for Railway applications under EN45545-2.

R10, R1, R7 and HL1,2 and 3 are all provided for.
