Decorpanel is a leader in panel product processing, offering a wide range of services including CNC processing, cutting, drilling, laminating, bonding, timber treatment, and more. We specialise in fabricating finished components and recycling residues, serving industries nationwide, such as construction (including specialist trades), interior fit-outs, retail, furniture manufacturing, and the leisure market (including campervan conversions).
Role Overview
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Supervisor to oversee operations at our Newport site. This is a hands-on role requiring experience in team leadership or supervision within a similar industry. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our panel processing and fabrication operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate daily operations in panel product processing and fabrication.
• Ensure all team members are meeting production targets and maintaining quality standards.
• Provide guidance and support to your team, including training and development.
• Oversee health & safety practices, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Assist with the effective management of recycling residues and materials.
• Operate machinery and equipment, including forklifts (valid Forklift Truck license required).
• Collaborate with management to continuously improve processes and production efficiency.
Key Requirements
• Proven experience as a team leader or supervisor in a similar industry (e.g. construction, interior fit-out, furniture manufacturing).
• Valid Forklift Truck license.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support your team.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• A proactive, problem-solving approach with a focus on safety and quality.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
