The Premier Forest Group is seeking a dynamic Ecommerce Manager to drive the growth and efficiency of our Mill Timber Direct online store. Mill Timber Direct is a leading supplier of high-quality, sustainably sourced timber products, serving both trade professionals and homeowners. With a strong commitment to quality, sustainability, and customer service, we are looking for an experienced professional to enhance our online presence and sales strategy.

The Role: As our Ecommerce Manager, you will oversee and optimise our online sales platform, ensuring a seamless customer experience while driving revenue growth. You will lead the ecommerce strategy, enhance website performance, manage digital marketing initiatives, and drive customer engagement to maximise conversions and retention.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Ecommerce Strategy & Growth – Develop and execute a strategic ecommerce plan to enhance online sales, improve user experience, and increase brand visibility.
  • Website Management – Oversee the Magento store, ensuring optimal functionality, UX/UI enhancements, and regular content updates.
  • Digital Marketing – Work with internal teams and external agencies to implement SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media strategies to drive traffic and sales.
  • Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) – Analyse customer behaviour, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and conduct A/B testing to improve conversion rates.
  • Inventory & Product Management – Collaborate with stock and fulfilment teams to ensure accurate product listings, pricing, and availability.
  • Customer Experience & Support – Enhance the online customer journey, managing queries, reviews, and feedback to boost satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting – Utilise Google Analytics, sales reports, and other tools to track performance, report on KPIs, and drive informed decision-making.

What we are looking for: 

  • 3–5 years of experience in ecommerce management, preferably within retail, home improvement, or a related industry.
  • Proven expertise in managing the Magento platform.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and paid social media campaigns.
  • Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Experience working with inventory management and logistics teams.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong project management skills.
  • Familiarity with UX/UI best practices and conversion rate optimisation is a plus
