Marine plywood, as the name would allude to, has been engineered to resist decay and rot in high-moisture conditions, for example, it is used in boat and ship building; it’s versatility means that it can also be used for cabinet making. This is achieved through the selection of timber species with suitably high durability classes to meet the requirements of BS1088:2003.
