A pattress is a plywood or timber board fixed within in a partition; equipment can then be secured to the board, for example power outlets, ceiling roses, basins, wall cabinets and so on.
SMARTPLY PATTRESS PLUS is an engineered OSB3 panel which has an in-built continuous recess, designed to accommodate ‘C’ shaped metal studs used in building plasterboard partitions.
The ready prepared modular panels fit all commercially available drylining stud systems and are quick and easy to install. The high performance solid core OSB3 ensures secure anchorage at any point on the panel.
SMARTPLY PATTRESS PLUS provides a robust partition structure and does not add to the finished partition thickness, so it’s suitable for use in public access areas such as corridors and stairwells which may need higher levels of impact resistance.
With zero added formaldehyde, SMARTPLY PATTRESS PLUS can be used in environmentally sensitive interior applications where formaldehyde emissions need to be kept to a minimum, for example in hospitals, laboratories, museums and schools.
It is tested to the relevant sections of BS5234 Part 2 demonstrating high pull-out strength.
