Huge Congratulations to our very own Terry Edgell Co-founder and CEO of Premier Forest Products,  who won the Leadership award at the Circle 2 Success Business Awards 2023.

30 years ago, Terry, Nigel Williams and Dilwyn Howells set up Premier Forest Products at Terry’s home in Cwmbran.  Today, Terry still has the same passion, enthusiasm and dedication to the business as he did 30 years ago.

Premier Forest now employs over 300 people, has a turnover of around £130m, multiple sites across the UK and has diversified into timber processing, joinery and engineered timber.  An inspirational leader, Terry was nominated by his colleagues and we’re all thrilled with his well-deserved win!

Terry commented ‘It was an absolute honour to win this year’s C2S leadership award, made all the more humbling by the fact that my senior team at Premier Forest decided to enter me without my knowledge.

Upon hearing just how many individuals had entered the awards competition and on the seeing the quality of the finalists; I was even prouder to have won.

The past 30 years of business have gone in the blink of an eye, during which time we have seen and experienced every high and low that a global and domestic economy can throw at a business, we have survived and thrived because Premier Forest has some of the best and loyal talent in the timber industry, surrounding myself with the best has certainly make me look good and this award really is a win for the entire leadership team across the group.’
