Job Vacancies: Warehouse Supervisor

Premier Forest Products is one of the UK’s leading timber importers, processors, and distributors. With over 20 sites nationwide and a workforce of 600+ employees, we have experienced significant growth in recent years through acquisitions and continued business expansion.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. This is a great opportunity to become part of a busy operation, supporting warehouse and yard activities, transport coordination, and customer order fulfilment.

Working closely with the Operations Manager, Transport Department, and wider team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

What You’ll Do:

  • Picking and sorting customer orders across a variety of timber products. (Some heavy lifting may be required.)
  • Locate products, ensure accuracy, and prepare them for shipment or delivery.
  • Responsible for gathering items from a warehouse to fulfil customer orders.
  • Ensuring the warehouse and yard are kept to the highest standards for safety, storage efficiency, and housekeeping Complying with the Health & Safety guidelines that are in place. Keeping the Operations Manager and Transport Department informed if any issues arise.
  • Loading and unloading customer and company vehicles.
  • Supervising warehouse operatives and supporting day-to-day warehouse activities.
  • Supporting stock control, goods in and goods out processes.

What We’re Looking For:

  • You should have previous experience in a similar supervisory role.
  • Knowledge and experience with stock control and warehouse operations.
  • The ability to collaborate with other team members and departments.
  • Able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • Organised and efficient.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Can-do positive attitude.
  • Ability to lead and support a team in a fast-paced environment.
