Job Vacancies: Warehouse & Yard Supervisor
Premier Forest Products is currently recruiting a full-time Warehouse & Yard Supervisor for our Creeksea Depot.
The purpose of the role is to provide support to the Depot, particularly the Warehouse Operations & Transport Department, where you will be working alongside the Operations Manager and the Transport Coordinator.
What you’ll be doing:
The duties of the role are broad and include a range of responsibilities which include but not limited to;
- Picking, Packing and banding of goods.
- Loading and off-loading of vehicles using forklift truck.
- Labelling of goods.
- Ensuring the warehouse and yard are kept to the highest standards for safety, storage efficiency and housekeeping.
- Complying with the health & safety guidelines that are in place.
- Keeping the Operations Manager and Transport Department informed if any issues should they arise.
- Coordinating with the Transport Planner and assisting them with daily duties, including printing and distributing pick notes, issuing delivery notes to drivers.
- Processing customers orders, loading and unloading customer and company vehicles.
What we are looking for …..
- Forklift License.
- You should have previous experience in similar role.
- Knowledge and experience with stock.
- Basic admin and IT skills.
- Some knowledge of transport & distribution would be desirable.
- The ability to collaborate with other team members and departments.
- Able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Organised and efficient.
- Communication skills.
- Can-do positive attitude.
