Premier Forest Products has been named Large Business of the Year in the South Wales Argus Business Awards 2022, nearly 25 years after winning the newspaper’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 1998.

The awards ceremony took place at the University of South Wales’ Newport City Campus, where some of the best companies and business people that Gwent has to offer were honoured.

Terry Edgell, CEO and Co-founder of Premier Forest Products said: “We’re delighted to have won Large Business of the Year at our local business awards, especially amongst such a strong shortlist.

“As Young Entrepreneurs in 1998, we spoke about our ambitions for the company and it is so gratifying that so many of them have been realised. Even though we’ve been in business since 1993, we’re no less ambitious than when we started and we’re looking forward to 2023 and the success and challenges the New Year will bring.”
