We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Yard Supervisor to join our team based at Mill Timber Direct in Crumlin. Experience within the timber or builder’s merchant sector would be a huge advantage, but this is not essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the yard is organised and running effectively on a day to day basis.

We pride ourselves on creating a safe working environment and delivering excellent customer service. You’ll be the ultimate professional, approachable, in addition to being an excellent leader and motivator.

You will be required to demonstrate a high level of customer service to visitors to the yard, ensuring efficient and accurate receipt/storage and dispatch of goods. Along with ensuring there is a high standard of housekeeping and compliance with health and safety and security requirements.

Application must possess relevant product knowledge and feel confident leading a team.

You will have a positive outlook on life, and always be willing to go the extra mile in order to exceed our customers’ expectations.

You must demonstrate excellent communication skills, and be just as happy to work as a team player, as you are on your own.

You must be able to handle pressure well, and work to deadlines in a high energy environment servicing customer and business needs.
